Onur Karasurmeli is an IT Assistant based in Istanbul, Turkey, building a strong technical foundation in Tier-1 global IT operations while pursuing a deep, hands-on interest in Data Science. He supports Microsoft 365 administration, global helpdesk operations, and end-user infrastructure for a group of companies spanning more than twenty countries.
Alongside his day-to-day IT responsibilities, Onur is actively developing his analytical and machine learning skill set — engineering end-to-end pipelines with Python, building predictive models with Scikit-Learn and XGBoost, and shipping interactive applications with Streamlit and Flask. He holds an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Inönü University and completed an Erasmus+ internship in the United Kingdom.
He's currently exploring opportunities that let him grow from IT support into a hands-on Data Science or Machine Learning role, combining his operational discipline with his growing portfolio of applied ML projects.
